If you’ve failed to build a successful business up to this point its not completely your fault. There is so much information out there right now that it's easy to get confused as to what you need to focus on and what you shouldn't.
What I’ve found is that most coaches and gurus out there have great advice but they lack the foundation building that’s key to every success story. You see you can’t build a business if you don’t have consistent forward focus and momentum. It’s about taking a step backward and cleaning up all of the things that need to be cleaned up such as your physical space, overdue taxes, and really anything else that sits in the back of your mind and fogs your brain preventing full focus on the project at hand.
You need a clear space where you can be present and focused on taking only inspired actions. I literally don’t sell. I don’t ask people for money, they come to me. They ask me to put an offer together for them. I was also the very first person in Canada to do a multi-camera facebook live show and I have done a number of them. I have also been the producer of other people’s shows, multi-camera facebook lives.
My mission is to help people who are just like me get to where I got just like someone did for me. This person, Scott saw me for being greater than I knew myself to be. He saw my gifts and talents.
I want to help others who are where I was two years ago who think they are unattractive, ugly, who are self-conscious, who are scared of video and who on their first appearance, when you first look at them, they don’t have charisma, confidence, they are ineffective communicators. Imagine what it will be like when you have people who approach you, and practically beg you to work with them, as opposed to you having to chase people and try to sell them.
And I want you to imagine what life will be like when you have the freedom to spend your time doing whatever means the most to you!
Now before we dive in I just want to say that it can be frustrating to give someone all of the information they need to be successful, only to run into them years down the road and find out that they are still stuck in the same place because they never failed to take any action.

Not next year, not next month, not even next week, but right away!

So now I want to go over the 4 Secrets to my success that I’ll be sharing with you today! 1) Power of Integrity 2) Nail Your Niche 3) Nail Your Story 4) Nail Your Offer
SECRET 1 So let’s dive right into #1, the power of integrity. This is really the most important secret to my success.
I could have all the other three secrets and nail all three of them, but if I have missed incorporating this one foundational element, then nothing will work or it may seem like it is all working, and it will only be temporary as it will not last.
And when I say what it is, you are going to be tempted to say 'Ah, I already know what this is ... whatever...' I thought I knew what it is too, and I learned this lesson the hard way. I am going to tell you what it is right now - You can't build anything and I mean anything without the foundation of integrity.
I am going to start by speak about a certain aspect of integrity which is the basics, honor your word, your commitments, your agreements. Now, what does this mean? It may just sound that simple, and it actually can be that simple if we just make it so we are just living our lives by this one key foundation.
You want to start developing a powerful life, an even more powerful life then the one you are living right now!
I didn’t just get there over night either, I started to develop a new muscle, a muscle that nobody has ever really taught me to have before until I met Scott, and I started to learn all about his work. The one element that's always present at the forefront in Scott's work no matter what he does is the foundational principle of integrity. This is the muscle that most people don't have. No offence though, I didn’t even have this muscle, and I am still not perfect in every area in my life when it comes to integrity, but I’m aware of it now and its a muscle I Conti new to build each and every day.
So what does it mean to honor your word? Well, it's simple - Do what you say and say what you mean.
Yes, through my own personal experiences and so many times of just not keeping my word and the significant impact it had not only on me, but also on other people who were the recipient of me breaking my work or not honoring my word with them, and also it having done on me numerous times. Where people were not honouring their word with me or did not honor an agreement with me, for example, in business. And I remember the negative impact it had on me.
I have always felt more in control and peaceful when I know that I have been in full integrity whether it be with a person or in whatever I do. In life, we can either honor our word or honor our excuses, in other words our reasons and justifications even when those reasons can be very valid leaving us a victim to our circumstances or situational factors.
What feels more powerful to you? Honoring your word no matter what? Or honoring your reasons or excuses? What feels like it will have you live life with more power and conviction - life on your own terms?
In business, what creates the stronger element of trust? Always honoring your word, so the trust part is intact.
Wouldn’t it be amazing if people could always relate to you as your word, such as your clients, business partners, and others? That if you say something, they know you mean it and you will do it because you have been consistent with always keeping your word and shown that your word and integrity matters to you.
So what are some tactics and strategies we can use to honour our word and keep a high level of integrity? Being self-employed is a totally different mind-set, and the key here is you have to start by scheduling out some time, it is all in the scheduling. That is the valuable lesson here.
Start by scheduling one day where you wake up and you do some form of a meditation whether it be meditation, jogging or anything where you are getting out of your physical space before you start anything that is work related no matter what it may be.
Why start with getting out of your Physical Space? Well, working for yourself and having none to answer to, even if it is having a business on the side while you are still a worker with a full-time job comes with its advantages, the freedom of being able to charge whatever you want without limitations.
And at the same time it is a challenge as it takes self-discipline being an entrepreneur or even a part-time entrepreneur. And self-discipline does not come naturally to most of us, wouldn’t you agree? It takes something to function with self-discipline, it’s not like we are born with it.
I know from personal experience, it hasn’t been easy for me to have self-discipline as an entrepreneur in the beginning. In fact, when I transitioned from worker to full-time entrepreneur, It was very challenging for me to self-generate myself to work. That is why getting out of your physical space of your physical space is so important.
And if there is one thing to shift, lets first start with working on the mind-set. It starts with scheduling a block of time, so it starts with ideally one day where this day is about whatever you want to do, whether it is going to a coffee shop, and starting the day, going to a library, just something for you that represents physical space that you have set yourself up to be creative and only do those tasks that are inspired as that is what works and gets you results.
So I hope this is making sense and you can see how the foundation of integrity is the most important part of building a business. Without it its like building a house with luxury materials on top of a mud patch.
SECRET 2 Now let’s move into the second secret. What you need to do before you can build any kind of business is determine your niche. One of the most important things you can do is understand who your target audience is, what they struggle with day to day, and where they ultimately want to be in life.
This step is so critical to your success that you should return to the drawing board if you haven’t nailed it down completely. Not only is it important to understand your audience and where they can be found, but you also need to know that you can actually help them with the problems they face. And most of all, you need to know that you enjoy working in this niche to begin with.
Imagine spending years building a business only to realize aa year or two down the road that you’re either not cut out for it or that it's completely unfulfilling to you.
You need to be selecting a niche that brings you joy to work in each and every day.
Most people fail because they skip over this step or they don’t give it the attention and focus that it deserves. The result is people spend all fo their time and energy experimenting with different niches and learning later on that they were a wast of time. It can be exhausting to have to return to the drawing board every time so you need to make sure its done right the first time.
Here we will go into my 1111 story.
So can you see how important it is to spend the time to get this right the first time?
SECRET 3 Great, let's move on to nailing your offer.
Most people who try to build a business struggle to create an irresistible offer. Again it goes back to really understanding your target audience and their needs. So many offer are created that are high in value, but not aligned at all with what the audience is looking for. Your offer can’t be what you want it to be. It has to be what your audience wants it to be.
Think about it this way, if someone were to offer you an amazing deal learning all about worms, you wouldn’t take it right? Even though its a great deal it probably dent apply to yo or your goals. Just because somethings a good deal doesn’t automatically make it a high converting offer.
Far too many people struggle with this and when it doesn’t work, instead of looking at their offer they think its every other part of their business, from their ads to their funnels etc.
When you start to drive traffic to your funnels, are you finding that your lead magnets and lower ticket offers are converting but your core offer doesn't? ITs because you don’t have a good offer, or maybe you do and it's just not structured or presented in the right way.
Hop in to any business group on Facebook and you’ll find people constantly looking for closers to add to their team. Most of the time they want closers because they’ve failed to create an offer that people actually want. Instead they think its a sale issue as to why they can’t close someone on a $3,000 program that has absolutely no proof or track record of success of any kind.
Your offer needs to be a no brainer for your audience. To do this effectively we do what’s called offer sequencing, or building a value ladder. Your very first offer should be lead magnet of some kind. Something that will give them a quick win in exchange for their email address. This starts the relationship off in the right way.
Next on you will try to upset them a tripwire offer. Far too many people make the mistake of pitching their core offer after a lead magnet. The key in the second sequence is to get them to pull out their wallet. And give you smaller amount of money for a lower ticket item that is a splitter off from your core offer.
Any time someone spends money with you for the first time it effectively changes the relationship with them. Its now transactional and will be easier to get them to do it again. This is also when you start to recoup your ad spend on the lead magnet traffic. Remember the first paid offer needs to be an entry level price point.
Simply sending cold traffic to your core offer is like walking in to a bar and asking someone to marry them. It takes time to build the relationship the right way and your offers are key to doing this.
The goal with these offers is to make the perceived value so high that they feel like they are stealing it at that price. As you move up through the value ladder the offer needs to increase in both perceived value and in price.
What you should start out by doing is mapping out your funnel. You can do it with simply a pen and paper, or you can use free tools like funnelytics to help you do this.
When you create an offer you need to think about the offer stack. Break down your offer so you can show people everything that make it up. The more things you can stack in, the higher the perceived value will be. Your offer should appeal to and be customized for your niche market..
So agin think about the logical sequence of events to take the customer through. What do they need from you to get them from where they are now to where they want to be.
The key to keeping customers happy is to creating a better customer experience, and that all starts with the offer. Creating the best customer experience possible for them also entails anticipating their needs before they can.
Another thing you can do at each level or sequence is to leave the customer with something to reflect on. Maybe ask them to physically map out as many 1. Written things they can include in their offer, 2. As many spoken things they can provide, and 3. As many physical things they can have in their offer, and as many other untangible and untangible things they can create in their offer.
Is this starting to make sense for you guys? Are you starting to see how it all comes together?
SECRET 4 Once you’ve nailed your niche and your offer, you need the stories of realists that you’ve gotten other people. If you don’t have any stories yet, then you need to start by helping people for free as you build up these success stories and testimonials.
Try joining different Facebook groups or reach out to people in your community and offer to help them for free in exchange for a testimonial. This is exactly what I did with 1212.
Again if you truly love the work, it won’t be painful to do it for free for a few people. What you really need is 1-3 good stories. You can have 1 if the story is that good and powerful and focused on results, but again aim for at least 3 if possible.
The story isn’t enough on its own though. You need to craft it in a way that explains what the persons life was like before, what were they struggling with. What makes a powerful story is showing the transformation that someone had, not just the end result.
This is where we need the story of Scott helping people for free.
